Valerie Van Courtlandt's practice is focused on commercial real estate transactions and business formation. She represents various corporations, real estate developers and individuals in all areas of commercial development, including the acquisition and sale of real property, the negotiation and preparation of complex easement and restriction agreements, retail and office leasing, the creation of commercial condominiums, construction agreements, formation of entities, such as limited liability companies and limited partnerships, as well as various other business transactions.
Valerie Van Courtlandt has a substantial practice in the area of estate planning. Ms. Van Courtlandt prepares a wide range of wills, from simple wills to more complex estate planning documents such as testamentary trusts and family limited partnerships. Ms. Van Courtlandt also prepares other estate planning documents, including powers of attorney, designations of guardian, and directives to physicians.
